Harris takes charge of global ad sales as Ajit Mohan steps down.
Snap appointed Ronan Harris as its new Chief Commercial Officer on 8 September 2026. In this role, Harris will lead global advertising sales and the go-to-market organization, focusing on accelerating ad revenue growth and expanding partnerships with agencies and advertisers.
Harris led Snap's operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for nearly four years before this promotion. During that period, Europe achieved 10 consecutive quarters of double-digit year-over-year revenue growth through the second quarter of 2026, including an increase of nearly 40% in the first half of 2026. He previously spent more than 17 years at Google, where he served as Vice President and Managing Director for the UK and Ireland.
Ronan brings deep advertising expertise, strong relationships with our partners, and a sustained record of growth at Snap. I look forward to working with him in this new role as we help more advertisers succeed on Snapchat and grow our advertising business.
The leadership change comes as Ajit Mohan leaves Snap after nearly four years. Mohan previously served as Chief Business Officer and as President of the APAC region.
