The new suite combines insurance and data tools as retail fraud reached 3.2% of online revenue.
UPS launched UPS Secure Commerce on September 30, 2026. The integrated suite brings together supply chain solutions designed to help businesses of all sizes manage risk, prevent fraud, and mitigate delivery disruptions.
The platform combines several existing UPS offerings into one portfolio, including InsureShield shipping insurance, Parcel Pro for high-value cargo, and CommerceShield technology. Chief Digital and Technology Officer Bala Subramanian stated that the service pairs company data and logistics expertise with agentic artificial intelligence to move clients from reactive to proactive supply chain management.
The launch addresses growing friction in global retail e-commerce, where sales reached an estimated $6.4 trillion in 2025. Reported fraud losses represented roughly 3.2% of e-commerce revenue during that year, excluding extra costs from disputes, returns, and administrative processing.
During 2025, UPS protected 1.4 million shippers and insured 62 million packages, resolving 97% of claims in five days or less. The company generated $88.7 billion in revenue in 2025, operates in over 200 countries and territories, and employs approximately 460,000 workers.
