The bank will migrate its full home loan servicing portfolio onto the MSP platform after a 35-year partnership.
Wells Fargo renewed and expanded its long-term contract with Intercontinental Exchange on September 29, 2026. Under the new terms, the bank will shift its entire home loan servicing portfolio onto ICE's MSP platform, extending a technology partnership that has lasted more than 35 years.
The expanded setup includes the use of ICE Business Intelligence to automate default servicing workflows. Wells Fargo has also started to register its mortgage loans electronically on the MERS eRegistry system to track and transfer loans across the industry standard database.
Bob Hart, President of Mortgage Technology at ICE, stated that the platform allows servicers to automate complex operational steps, cut manual intervention, and comply with changing regulations.
Wells Fargo holds roughly $2.3 trillion in assets and ranked 38th on Fortune's 2026 list of the largest corporations in the United States.
