Clients can now manage India payroll natively under a single Workday contract.
Workday has expanded its partnership with payroll technology provider Neeyamo to launch Workday Payroll provided by Neeyamo. Announced on Sept. 22, 2026, the offering lets customers process payroll for employees in India directly within the Workday environment.
The new solution is available through a single Workday contract. It features certified integration with Workday Global Payroll Connect, synchronized HR and payroll data, and localized statutory compliance managed through Neeyamo Payroll. Customers can also hire Neeyamo separately for managed payroll services and implementation.
Sunil Jose, president of Workday India, noted that India remains a strategic market for multinationals, making localized payroll tools vital for regulatory compliance. Rangarajan Seshadri, CEO of Neeyamo, stated that the integration combines Workday Human Capital Management with Neeyamo's local payroll technology to reduce operational complexity.
