Google Cloud deploys Gemini at Balyasny Asset Management
The hedge fund integrates the AI models across more than 200 global investment teams.
Google Cloud announced a partnership on October 8, 2026, with global investment firm Balyasny Asset Management to deploy Google's Gemini artificial intelligence models into the asset manager's proprietary research platforms.
Balyasny manages over $37 billion in assets and operates more than 200 global investment teams with over 2,700 employees across 24 offices. The firm is integrating Gemini into internal systems, including its BAMAgent application, to connect with more than 80 internal financial databases and tools. The models will assist analysts in processing thousands of weekly earnings transcripts, regulatory filings, central bank announcements, and live market feeds.
According to the companies, the integration uses Google Cloud VPC Service Controls to maintain data isolation, keeping proprietary trading data within Balyasny's private environment. Balyasny's Applied AI team will also participate in early-access programs to test upcoming Gemini models.
