The companies aim to deliver Intel-optimized software across data centers and the cloud.
Anaconda announced on October 8, 2026, that it is expanding its collaboration with
Intel. The agreement aims to make Intel-optimized software easier for developers to access, install, and update through the conda ecosystem.
The announcement coincided with a joint milestone of more than 500 million downloads of Intel-optimized artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Python packages.
The partnership focuses on supporting software builders as enterprise artificial intelligence projects transition from local devices to data centers and cloud infrastructure. Seth Clark, vice president of product for AI at Anaconda, noted that the collaboration aims to unlock the capabilities of Intel hardware for open-source applications as workloads scale.
Anaconda stated that more than 1.2 million organizations, including 95% of the Fortune 500, currently use its platform. The companies plan to release additional details regarding the initiative at a later date.
