The technology developed by uMov.me aims to cut re-deliveries by 50% and save 500,000 liters of fuel per year.
Seara, a subsidiary of JBS, announced on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the implementation of an artificial intelligence assistant called Mari to manage its delivery logistics. Developed by Brazilian technology company uMov.me, the solution acts as a cognitive control tower. It monitors operations in real time to raise delivery effectiveness to 98.5%.
Drivers interact with Mari through voice audio on WhatsApp without installing extra software. The tool evaluates traffic, location, and receiving windows. It automatically alerts back-office, supervisory, and sales teams to issues before or during transit.
In its initial phase, the project covers 300 drivers, 2,000 vehicles, and 20 distribution centers handling around 500,000 deliveries each month. Seara expects the rollout to cut re-delivery events by 50%, save more than 5,000 operational hours per month, and avoid consuming approximately 500,000 liters of fuel per year.
Miguel Anzolin, executive logistics manager at Seara, stated that anticipating incidents helps preserve service levels and product availability. Alexandre Trevisan, CEO of uMov.me, noted that the assistant aims to transform data into action to prevent costly delays.
