The Kraft Heinz Company announced on October 6, 2026, that Kraft Mac & Cheese is entering the ramen category for the first time in nearly 20 years. The company debuted Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen in three varieties: Spicy, Chicken, and Pork. The product contains no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes, and will be available nationwide across the United States in early 2027.

The ramen category is valued at $2.7 billion and is growing 9% year over year. Demand is driven by Gen Z consumers and formats like cheesy ramen, a segment that has doubled over the past three years. Nicolas Henault, Vice President of Marketing for Kraft Mac & Cheese, said consumers are increasingly looking for bold flavors and new ways to enjoy the foods they love, creating a natural opportunity to bring the brand's cheese expertise to the format.

The rollout is part of Kraft Heinz's broader $700 million investment to revitalize its brands and drive growth. It follows the earlier release of Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac in 2026. Kraft Heinz reported approximately $25 billion in net sales in 2025 across more than 40 countries.
