SAP showcased its autonomous enterprise software at the SAP Connect conference on October 6, 2026. The company began the customer rollout of Joule Work, an AI interface that connects to enterprise systems using SAP Knowledge Graph, which maps more than 7 million data fields.

Internally, SAP has deployed Joule Work across 110,000 employees. The company reported 20% productivity gains across its finance, human resources, and procurement units. Early customer deployments of its International Trade Assistant reduced trade classification effort by up to 50%.

SAP also announced its entry into the payments market with SAP Pay, powered by Tereina. The tool embeds directly into SAP Cloud ERP to execute and reconcile payments automatically when invoices come due.

The company also expanded its ecosystem, partnering with Moody's Corporation to embed supplier risk data into SAP Ariba, and expanding with ORO Labs for procurement orchestration. Enterprise clients citing active deployments include Novartis, Morgan Foods, Nestlé, and PwC.
