Bradesco approves 3.8 billion reais in shareholder payout
Holders of record by October 13 will receive the distribution by April 30, 2027.
Banco Bradesco announced in a regulatory filing on Wednesday, September 30, that it will pay BRL 3.8 billion in interest on equity. The distribution corresponds to BRL 0.342389810 per common share and BRL 0.376628790 per preferred share.
Investors must purchase shares by October 13 to be eligible for the payment. Starting October 14, the stock will trade ex-rights for the distribution. The bank stated that the payout will be completed by April 30, 2027.
Analysts at Safra noted that Bradesco has reduced risk across its credit portfolio since the last bad-credit cycle, though it retains a higher beta than Itaú. The team lowered its 2027 earnings estimates by 6% due to mass-market exposure and a slower expected return on equity, while keeping an outperform rating ahead of elections, citing insurance earnings and potential capital benefits.
